I just got a call from my son three minutes ago, literally before we went live, who informed me that he just passed his last board of medical school, and he is ready now to do his residencies in internal medicine. Very, very excited. Congratulations, Rhys Bulmash.
You’re amazing. All right, for those of you who are new to my show, I am Dr. Nelson Bulmash, and I am the host of Health Matters on the UI Media Network. Once again, if you haven’t heard any of my shows, Health Matters is designed to discuss the very, very best in health inspiration and spirituality.
I am a chiropractor, naturopath, nutritionist, and more. I hope you enjoy today’s show. I have a lot of people who ask me specific questions, like, Dr. Nelson, I hear a lot of talk about how to detoxify.
What does that mean? Why do we have to focus so much on detoxifying? Well, we’re going to look at that today, and we’re going to put a lot of focus today on technology, and the specific technology we’re going to look at and talk about is something called far infrared. A whole lot of research is coming out about how incredible this form of technology is for not only detoxifying us, which, by the way, is incredibly important since we live in such an extraordinarily toxic world, but also to help our bodies work better, to help us recover from workouts or life stress. It improves our sleep.
It relaxes us. It improves circulation. The newest research I got a number of weeks ago was that people who do far infrared saunas four times a week for 20 minutes each session have a decreased risk of getting dementia of over 60%, and the stats on decreased risk of heart attack and stroke were at least a decrease of 20 to 30%.
So this is something you guys are going to want to hear about. Besides, it’s really nice. It’s really relaxing to sit in a far infrared sauna.
It’s a wonderful thing. So before we get started, anybody who’s listened to me in the past knows I like to thank and support those who support me. So for those of you here in Atlanta who are listening in on WDJY FM 99.1 or my newer friends and fans in Kentucky and Ohio who are catching the show on WTTA 101.2 FM, welcome.

Let’s begin with the introduction of my guests. He is Phil Wilson. He is the president of Relax Saunas of Momentum 98.
Phil Wilson opened up a health food store and distributing company to health professionals in 1980. In 2002, he started distributing quality far-infrared portable saunas and has demonstrated them at about 500 holistic and professional conferences around the country. He has put over 100,000 individuals in far-infrared saunas during this time and has witnessed over 20,000 minor and major miracles.
For the last 6,000 days, that is 17 straight years, Phil has experienced over 6,200 20-minute morning sweats and knows a lot about the benefits of using far-infrared saunas. His website is www.relaxsaunas.com and his social media information is facebook.com, colon, Relax Sauna. Phil Wilson, glad to have you on the show, my friend.
How are you today? I’m well except for my voice. Your voice comes and goes. Well, don’t you worry, take your time.
We’re going to have a great hour together, Phil, and we’ll do the best we can. Just talk as clearly and enunciate as carefully as you can and we’ll find a way to get it out to the world, okay? It’s great to have you today on Health Matters. I see your wonderful portable Relax Sauna right behind you there.
That’s right, exactly. We’re going to talk a lot about it, Phil. But before we go into that, I want to talk about the notion of detoxifying.
It’s one of those concepts you hear so many people who are either healthcare professionals or people who are into health talk about. When we talk about detoxifying, what are we saying and why is it so important today, Phil? Well, we all know that a good engine, a clean engine works better than a dirty engine. And similarly, our physical bodies work well when they’re clean.
And there’s a book in the 1930s by a man named Tilden, T-I-L-D-E-N. I don’t remember the name of the book, but it was something like Toxins are the Cause of All Disease. I know that Sherry Rogers wrote a book, Detoxify or Die, that was also very powerful.
Yes, there you have it. That’s an outstanding book. I met her years ago.
I don’t know if she’s still around, but that’s an incredible book on the power and need to detoxify. It’s a classic. People with multi-chemical sensitivity and environmental difficulties were left dead.
And Dr. Sherry Rogers, that’s a picture of her, basically brought them back to life. And this book, Detoxify or Die, spawned an industry of far-infrared saunas. You know, it’s funny.
I remember meeting her. She was quite impressive, and I don’t know if she’s even still around. I hope she is.
She’s in Florida. Oh, fantastic. She’s in Florida.
Is she retired now, or is she still out? It seems like she is. She is retired. Well, she’s an incredible woman, and I agree with you, Phil.
Detoxify or Die by Sherry Rogers is a classic and should be read by anybody who has a body and wants to live a healthy life. Got it. Exactly.
So, listen, Phil, I wanted to mention something to you today. I went to an incredible—actually, you were at the conference in Texas, the IAACN event that was several weeks ago. And one of the things, Phil, that one of the doctors lecturing indicated that was—I guess it shouldn’t be shocking, but it was.
Some 15, 18 or so years ago, I was attending a number of lectures, and a number of the doctors indicated that the EPA had admitted that there were over 80,000 potentially carcinogenic substances that they were finding now in our environment. Well, you and I attended an event recently, that is several weeks ago, in Texas, Plano, Texas, at the IAACN convention, and a number of the doctors indicated that number has gone from 80,000 to currently over 10 million. Over 10 million potentially cancer-causing substances that are now found in the air that we breathe.
You know, the beauty of duality in the physical world is beautiful, because whenever there’s a problem, like lots of toxins, there’s—on the same side of the coin in the world comes a solution. We didn’t need far-infrared saunas 50 years ago. Right.
We didn’t have that many toxins. Regular saunas did great. Every culture, every culture, this is the history of sauna therapy in the world.
A cancer doctor in New York City who’s a Qigong master, an Oriental medical doctor, and a medical doctor. Interesting. Yeah, he also promotes the Relax Sauna to almost all of his cancer patients.
His name is Dr. Bill Akbenar. Well, it’s funny. You presented us with a rare book, a book that I actually don’t have.
I’m shocked there, Phil. It’s another classic. I’ll have to pick it up from you the next time I see you.
Absolutely. And by the way— I can send you one. Oh, thank you.
Thank you so much, Phil. I really would appreciate that. By the way, Phil, I, as you know, or maybe you don’t, I think you remember that I had cancer and have now been in remission for 12 years.
I had non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma twice. And I want you to know that one of the things I use to help lower my risk of getting cancer again, and as I mentioned, I have been in remission now for 12 years, is I do a lot of sauna work. Because one of the things that sets us up readily for cancer is to be exposed to carcinogenic substances.
I eulogized a very, very dear friend of mine yesterday, and I’m still heartbroken about it. It’ll take me a long time to recover from his passing. What happened was he developed a very rare form of leukemia that is highly aggressive.
And when he went to the hospital, they said, you’re a very lucky man. 90% of the people that get this kind of leukemia die in 24 to 48 hours after being diagnosed. The problem is that the treatment they gave him was arsenic-based.
And it set him up for—he lived from that cancer. But, sorry, a great friend of mine is just peeking and blowing me a kiss. Gloria, it’s great to see you, sweetheart.
A friend of mine, a great friend of mine who has her own show here. So, anyhow, so he chose that because it was the only form of cancer treatment that could get rid of this cancer that quickly. The problem is that it set him up for a very rare form of sarcoma, adrenal spindle cell sarcoma, that killed him in an equally devastating but slower manner.
So he was eulogized yesterday, and he will be someone who is irreplaceable as a friend, as a doctor, and as a human being on this planet. He was one of the finest people I’ve ever known, so he will be missed. And sadly, you know, he had forms of cancer that were so aggressive that he couldn’t do a lot about it.
But most of the people that, for example, that I work with, and I know most of the doctors that you work with, use your sauna. You have apparently sold approximately, what, 100,000 of these saunas to help people detoxify and regain their health? 20,000. Forgive me, 20,000.
20,000, yeah, we’ve been in business, the company has been in business for 40 years, and selling the Relax sauna for about 23 years. Well, we’ll go into that in a moment. Before we do, though, Phil, I want to talk about some other things.
I love to have a little bit of a broad spectrum as much as I like to have specific conversation about these things. What are some of the ways, outside of perhaps using technology, that we can help detoxify and optimize our physiology, our immunity, and our lives? Well, I started fasting in 1971. Wow.
I love fasting. I discovered recently that what I do now is called intermittent fasting. Yes.
I do that a lot. I usually don’t eat until about four in the afternoon. Oh, my God.
You’re really quite an intermittent faster there. I’m that guy that—go ahead, please. I’m sorry, Phil.
I interrupted. I do the sauna first thing in the morning. I drink about eight ounces of water.
I get in the Relax sauna. I do a 20-minute sweat, and I feel so invigorated and so cleansed and so purified. Yeah.
And then I get out, and I take a shower. Nice. Sometimes I drink water.
Right. And sometimes I go in again. I love it.
Phil, we’re going to take a quick commercial break. Folks, I’m Dr. Nelson Bulmesh. You’re listening to another episode of Health Matters.
My guest is Phil Wilson, the owner of Relax Sauna’s Momentum 98. We’ll be right back after this commercial break. Do I need a realtor to help me sell my house? It’s easy to find a house, right? Does this sound familiar? Are you and or your significant other staying up too late scrolling through your phone on one of those real estate apps searching through 15,000 homes in Atlanta? It’s okay.
This is what most of my clients are doing before they call me. It can become frustrating, stressful, and hard on your relationships. So if you want results, you can contact me on my Facebook, Melissa Smith, REMAX Regency.
Hope to hear from you soon. Health Matters is brought to you by our friends at North Fulton Apothecary, where they care about your health. 11940 Alpharetta Highway in Alpharetta.
Call 770-475-8903 or visit them online at northfultonrx.com. Welcome, everyone. Dr. Nelson Blomash here. Listen, I want to remind you, don’t forget to tune in on Friday at 4 p.m. Eastern Standard Time as host and friend of mine, Katherine Marshall Interviews author and speaker, Deborah Daniel, along with Dr. Joyce Reynolds on Health is Wealth Show.
All right, Phil, I want to get back to that question because it’s so important. Like I said, I don’t like to just, if we can avoid just talking about one thing and widen our bandwidth, I like to talk about a number of things. So before we jump into talking about the power and the impact of far infrared saunas, I want to talk more.
You said things you can do to detoxify naturally. You do intermittent fasting, and I do, by the way, and I can’t tell you. I have I’ve had a lifelong challenge after I broke my back in 19, I believe was 1980.
Goodness, 82, 84. It was 84. It’s been about 35 years now.
Fell down a flight of stairs, then further hurt myself in a lifting injury, broke my back in four to six places and have had unrelenting pain for decades, you know, three and a half decades or so, Phil. And nobody has been able to give me a path to relieve this pain. Well, I ended up having a very serious health challenge over the last three months.
And one of the things I did was I said, I’ve just got to figure out this intermittent fasting thing. And one of the things after, you know, you had cancer and I have an autoimmune problem. This accident set me up for a lot of really challenging health things, because when you have an accident like where you break your back, it just really takes the wind out of your your sail, so to speak.
And so it set the stage for lots of other things to happen and ended up with cancer, ended up with an autoimmune problem. And one of the things that I did recently as I started to go sideways with regard to my health was I said, you know what? I’m going to find a way to intermittently fast. It wasn’t something I was comfortable with.
It didn’t work effectively for me. I couldn’t maintain my blood sugar values. So I just started at four hours and then I went to six hours, then I went to eight.
And now I’ve gone as long as 15 hours. And, Phil, for the first time in over 35 years, either days, I have some pain. But when I tell you some pain, I’m talking about two to five percent versus having 90 to 95 percent pain.
So this is such an enormous revelation. I have more flexibility. I have more energy.
My mind is more clear and I have dramatically less pain. What other things can we do that bring us the game changers like this that can really, really help change our lives favorably, help us detoxify and yet nourish our bodies? Well, I got into Chinese herbs way back in 1971. When I got into fasting in 1981, I got into spirulina and later chlorella and later blue green algae.
And, of course, there’s wheatgrass therapy. And I generally do a green juice, you know, every afternoon. I opened up a health food store in 1980, selling massage tools, rebounders, inversion machines.
And then it’s only in 2002 that we started promoting the Relax Sauna. And that is actually the pinnacle of all the products that we’ve ever sold to help people with pain, inflammation, to feel invigorated, get a deep, deep calm, help them sleep, get rid of anxiety. But basically, I, you know, basically don’t do preservatives.
I don’t do sugar. I had an experience in 1971. I became very sensitive.
I could not drink water that wasn’t pure without having a schism in my head. I would reach for yogurt with sugar in it. I’d get pain in my arm just reaching for it.
And I was very, very sensitive. I have desensitized myself since then. But at that time, I was almost a fruitarian with vegetables and a little bit of yogurt.
But I’m very careful about my diet. You know, no white flour, no white sugar. But now I’ve gone through the process.
I’ve got the sauna that has helped my lifestyle because I can make a mistake. And every time I make a mistake, if I overeat, whatever, I go into the sauna and it fixes it in minutes. Fantastic.
I want to talk about that. Let’s open up this conversation. Before we get started, I’m sure there are a lot of people out there who, you know, as we sit here, Phil, together, sipping tea together, talking about far-infrared sauna technology that have absolutely no idea what in the world we’re talking about.
Let’s take a moment, Phil, and talk about when we refer to far-infrared technology, far-infrared sauna, what are we actually talking about? From the sun comes ultraviolet, which gives us a tan or a sunburn. We have visible light and we have infrared light, far-infrared specifically being the same energy as human energy, the same energy as water. Water is the far-infrared molecule and human beings and all animals and birds, mammals and birds are far-infrared light beams.
We shine, emit and absorb only far-infrared light because that’s the frequency that we resonate with. Interesting. So the far-infrared comes from the sun, it goes through the sand, it doesn’t get the sand hot and goes two inches down and resonates with the water in turtle eggs and activates a turtle embryo to grow into a turtle or otherwise it would not grow into a turtle.
Chickens cheat. It’s interesting. I’ve heard it said, Phil, and please correct me if I am stating anything that’s incorrect as you are the master of this domain.
I am not. Although I’ve used it for many years, including yours for what, at least six or eight years now, I think. Is that correct? Yeah.
You got one at the IAACN conference in Minnesota. You had a patient who you worked on. She did it for 15 minutes and you had incredible results.
Yes. And a wow that you’ve never been able to do, you’ve been working on for a year and a half. Right.
And being in the 15 minutes in the sauna helped you do your great work. Yeah. Thank you so much, Phil.
You have an outstanding memory and you are correct. There was something about the sauna that unlocked something in her that was stuck. And in her, you’re exactly right.
In her using the sauna, suddenly she started to detoxify and open up pathways that later changed her life. So it was a spark that ultimately allowed her to come back from a life-threatening illness. I remember that very well.
I’m surprised given how often you have these kinds of miracles happen using your technology that you remember that specific event. But I will never forget that. And by the way, Phil, I’ve been using infrared saunas before that.
But when that happened, I just said, okay, this is game done. I’m going to own one of these myself. All right.
So let’s go into this a little bit more. So, you know, there are a lot of things that I absolutely love about your unit. I know it’s not the prettiest unit, but it is.
Well, I mean, you know, nowadays they have these units that are $20,000 and $30,000 that are gorgeous and, you know, they’re anchored. You can use them in your home or at a spa. And I wasn’t, by the way, I hope you weren’t in any way offended.
What I love about yours is it’s not the prettiest because it’s light and it is portable. And I can take it from my business to my home and may very well do that this weekend. I have it currently at my business because I occasionally will let people who don’t have their own use mine.
But I’m going to be home for the better part of a week here starting tomorrow afternoon. And I have a feeling I’m going to bring my sauna home and let family members and, of course, myself use it every day. There’s a doctor in Connecticut who he says what I like best about the Relax sauna.
He calls it instant on. Yeah, you’re right. You know, people love that because not 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 20 seconds, 30.
Yeah, Phil. And I want to distinguish something when. And by the way, you know, when I had cancer, I had a gorgeous wooden sauna, dry sauna built in my house.
It’s beautiful. I mean, I made it so the entire family could sit in there with me and I would detoxify usually six days a week for an hour. And it was it was a beautiful experience.
It allowed me time to reflect and such. But it never gave me when I started using your far infrared technology, it was incredible how quickly, meaning how few days it was. I remember actually days I remember going in and going, wow, but I feel better in one in one session.
And, of course, the answer is you certainly can. And one of the things that I understand about far infrared is unlike traditional dry saunas where you have a heating element, like we have a massive heating element that glows red and then it heats your body from the inside out. My understanding about far infrared is that it heats you from the inside out to get much deeper penetration of the of the body than you would more quickly than using the traditional dry heated sauna.
A lot of people don’t realize that a far infrared sauna is not really a sauna because it works with energy medicine. It works with the frequency of far infrared light that resonates with your cells and with the water cells. And it pulsates the water molecules and that creates magic.
Hippocrates says, find me a way to create sweat or fever and I will cure disease. Oh, I love that quote. I love it.
And the Relax Sauna pulsates the water molecules. When you get 100 people in a small room dancing, it’s going to get hot. Right.
So the water molecules pulsating is going to get your body hot. That’s called a fever. Yes.
Magic happens. Magic. Phil, doesn’t the core temperature actually increase two or three degrees while you’re doing, say, a 30 minute far infrared sauna? There’s a research article on Reddit.com, a review of the Relax Sauna.
He tried a couple Amazon saunas, the $250 one and the $500 one. He could not increase core temperature more than a half a degree in 25 minutes. The Relax Sauna, he says, wow, he got it.
It exceeded his expectations instead of feeling dismally to do all the things that all the studies on far infrared say they do. It increased core temperature 3.2 degrees in 25 minutes. And all the heart variability graphs for the heart, it passed with flying colors.
It exceeded his expectations. Yeah. Yeah, that’s fantastic.
So am I correct when I say that the pulsating creates an oscillation of the fluid, we call it the cytosol within the cell, that kicks out poisons from within the cell? Is that correct, Phil? Is that how it helps to detoxify? Well, it actually, because you’re increasing the core temperature and increasing the microcirculation, it’s mobilizing the lymphatic system by activating the lymphocytes or birthing them. So they go out and they capture and kill the debris. You know, this works like a washing machine.
Yes. But instead of water, cleansing every fiber by penetrating the clothes, the far infrared actually goes in and penetrates, goes in two inches, far infrared ray. Like near infrared goes in one millimeter, but far infrared ray goes in two inches and cleanses every single cell of the body.
Yeah. And that’s like, you know, like you can clean the outside with a shower. Yes.
But you can’t clean the inside. Beautiful analogy. Yeah.
And the far infrared does this. Only the far infrared ray resonates. So, you know, a lot of saunas will say, well, we’re full spectrum, which is the same as saying, it’s not saying anything.
It says we’re infrared. They don’t know how to get. It took us 10 years at the Relax Sauna Company to filter out the near infrared energy to give you the pure far.
So that’s why Dr. Akpinar, the guy who wrote No Sweat, No Sweat, calls it the Qi Gong sauna. Love it. And he says the Relax Sauna will create heat shock proteins.
That’s what we’re talking about. Right. Core temperature.
Yes. More than any other sauna. No other portable sauna can compare.
And this is hard to believe, but the technology is totally different. We don’t use carbon panels. We use the sauna tank as a mirror and we use a specific semiconductor chips that took 10 years to figure out how to do.
Fantastic. Well, I can tell you this. I’ve done studies on myself, Phil, after using your saunas and my toxicity levels absolutely have been shown to decline, meaning lessen in the body.
But the one thing I wanted to establish with you, Phil, I know the lymphatics are involved, of course, but isn’t it the pulsating that creates the oscillation of the cytosol, the fluid inside the cell? And in doing so, then it kicks the poisons out. And from there, they go into the lymphatics and then the blood for removal. And now you can absorb the nutrients that you couldn’t absorb before.
When you cleanse the body, now you can absorb the nutrients. And so if you increase core temperature one degrees, according to lectures that we’ve gone to. If you have low absorption of nutrients, 20 percent by increasing core temperature only one degree.
Wow. By using a Relax Sauna. Fantastic.
Phil, we’re going to take our second commercial break. Folks, I’m Dr. Nelson Bulmash. Phil Wilson is here with me.

11940 Alpharetta Highway in Alpharetta. Call 770-475-8903 or visit them online at northfultonrx.com. All right, everyone. Welcome back.
I’m Dr. Nelson Bulmesh. I’m speaking to Phil Wilson, who is the owner of Relax Sauna Momentum 98. And he is one of the authorities, I would say, in far infrared technology in this country.
And he has an amazing sauna. It’s behind him, if you’re watching us. Phil, there you go.
It’s portable. It’s small. It works amazingly.
I’m generally, you know, not somebody, Phil, who has a lot of people on who sell products. But I have been so incredibly impressed with how many doctors and how many patients I know and patients of friends and doctors that I know who use your sauna and have had absolutely miraculous changes in their health that I welcome you on this show. I’m so happy you appeared.
You have such a knowledge base and such an outstanding product. And once again, one of the things that I love about it is not only that it’s highly effective in helping us optimize our health, and we’re going to go into that in a moment in more depth, but it’s portable. You know, you can use this thing portably.
Like I said, I have it often at my office. I’ve had it at my house. I can pick it up in five minutes.
I can move it, get in it. And in 15, as little as 15 minutes, I notice very, very nice changes. I’m invigorated.
I have more energy. I recover much quicker from my workouts. My skin is more clear.
My skin is more tight. I feel more beautiful, quite frankly, Phil. Tell us some other ways, Phil, that it helps.
I know it has a profound influence, for example, on the cardiovascular system. Talk about that a little bit. Well, the Mayo Clinic recommends far-infrared saunas for all their heart patients, but they say do not use a regular sauna or a hot tub because the heart will have to race to find an equilibrium.
But in the far-infrared saunas, they don’t because it raises core temperature, so the discrepancy between the inside temperature of the body and the outside is not. Again, I pointed out that a firing-foot sauna is energy medicine, and it’s not a sauna any more than a prairie dog being a dog or a lion being a lion. So, Phil, does it actually help energize the heart? So, for example, if you have a weaker heart, does doing far-infrared sauna sessions actually help to invigorate the heart? So many people, one guy at a show we did, his parents were there.
He got in the sauna, did a 25-minute sweat, and he said, it normally takes me 45 minutes after driving across town, 45 minutes and 45 minutes back, and being exhausted, he felt invigorated in 25 minutes with a relaxed heart. Yeah, I feel the same. And I know some of the studies, and we’ll talk about this in a moment, some of the studies indicate that you really improve what’s called mitochondrial function.
And for those of you who don’t know, the mitochondria are the powerhouses. They’re the energy generators within the cell. And my understanding is, Phil, and you can talk about this, that the far-infrared sauna technology improves the production of cellular energy.
Talk to us about that. Well, you know, one of the things the Relax Sauna does, and all far-energy saunas do, but the Relax Sauna seems to do more because we filter out the near, and we give you 95% far, 98% far. Most of the saunas, when you buy a vitamin C capsule, it can be 100 milligrams or a gram or anywhere in between or more.
And sometimes your body needs 700 milligrams to have the change, and 100 milligrams or 500 doesn’t cut the mustard, but a gram does. So the Relax Sauna works more effectively. This is key.
It activates the parasympathetic nervous system. And so you experience deep, profound relaxation that one lady who owns a wooden sauna for five years never experienced in her life what she experienced in terms of profound, deep relaxation in eight minutes in a Relax Sauna. Phil, I want to pause for just a second.
I want our audience to have an understanding about what we’re talking about since we’re throwing around some big terms. You used the term parasympathetic. So folks, I’m going to give you three big words, and just so you have a little fundamental understanding.
We have what’s called the autonomic nervous system. That’s the part of the nervous system that works without your conscious control. So when you sleep, you don’t have to worry that you’re not going to breathe or that your heart is not going to beat.
So it handles that. And of that, you have two different divisions. One’s called the parasympathetic, and one’s the sympathetic.
And of these two components, we all know the sympathetic, it’s what has sympathy for you and allows you to be activated appropriately when you’re engaged in a fight-or-flight state. Also, it helps with vigilance and activation. So right now, even if you’re listening to my show, you’re activated.
That’s sympathetically driven. The parasympathetic response that Phil is mentioning is very important, and it’s a lost state of being in this country because we’re kept so agitated by the media and other sources that we live in a sympathetic state, and that’s one of the biggest reasons that we have trouble relaxing and sleeping. So what Phil is indicating is that by driving a parasympathetic state, we’re driving a state that allows for potentially profound relaxation and digestion.
So when you’re in a comfortable, tranquil spot, if you even remember what that is, it is where you are in a heightened parasympathetic state. And in that state, you really help replete, you replenish, you relax, and you find peace. And so, Phil, you are indicating that this really can be a profound way, as it was for this woman you were referring to a moment ago, to help bring her to this great state of, in the parasympathetic state, I should say, allowing her to relax.
This is in her whole life, including being an hour in that other wooden sauna. Yeah, yeah. Now, what’s exciting is that this gets you into the now, so that you get out of the way so your body can heal, like you talked about.
Right. But what this does, because of that, it activates the mitochondria, which is the energy cell producers in the body, to create ATP and nitric oxide. And this oxygenates the body, which kills pathogens, viruses, Right.
and stuff like that. And by increasing the core temperature, you can kill the Lyme spirochetes in the cancer cells. This is fantastic, Phil.
Thank you for bringing this up. You brought up a number of really important points that I want to talk about for a second. So, you know, one of the things that I have found is working with a lot of people who have chronic fatigue is they do very, very well using the sauna.
And one of the ways, of course, as we mentioned, is it helps increase ATP synthesis, which means that you have increased cellular energy production. So you have a person with chronic fatigue, they have no energy. So you do something that helps begin initiating increased energy production, and you have a person that for the first time potentially in years actually has a sense of being energized.
And you brought up another really, really important point, which is that it improves a molecule called nitric oxide. Now, nitric oxide, I think in 1993, was named the molecule of the year. It was in the 1990s.
Remember that? Yeah. Yeah. And so nitric oxide is another pearl here because nitric oxide is what is needed, for example, when we change the caliber, if you will, of the blood vessels.
So when you need them, for example, to widen, you increase nitric oxide. It causes relaxation of the molecules, and you can alter blood flow dramatically and dynamically. So also it’s used in immunity.
It is needed for men who have erectile dysfunction issues and much, much more. So it’s a critical molecule, and you’re right. It improves circulation dramatically when you increase nitric oxide.
So again, now we have two major points. We have that you have an increase in energy production through increased ATP synthesis and nitric oxide, which means you increase the circulation of oxygen, circulation delivery of oxygen, nutrients, and the removal of things that are toxic. So fantastic.
What the relaxant does with water cells is exciting because it pulsates the water molecules, and this gets the hydrogen and oxygen bond, H2O. The angle gets smaller. That gets the water cell to be smaller, and it has the result of getting the blood cells smaller.
So that’s why it increases microcirculation, and this is why people with neuropathy and Raynaud syndrome, and of course it gets rid of inflammation and pain remarkably fast. That’s fantastic. What a pearl, Phil.
Thank you for that. You absolutely taught me something here. That’s how that works.
We have people with Lyme disease who have neuropathy. She has a portable sauna. She used a dozen times an hour at a time.
It didn’t have enough impetus for her neuropathy to go away. She got in the Relax Sauna for 12 minutes at a conference on Lyme disease, and she had feeling in her toes and fingers for the first time in 2 1⁄2 years. Wow, that’s absolutely remarkable.
And that’s the importance of having a greater amount of the foreign energy, and also 1,500 watts is a lot more than 900 or 1,000 watts that all the other saunas have. Right. So we have 1 1⁄2 times the power.
And about four times the purity. So purity is key. So, in other words, let me make sure I’m hearing you correctly, Phil.
So you’re getting far greater penetration into the body. You’re getting a deeper penetration of the far infrared by the increased water, the increased power of the system, right? Number one. Yes.
And number two, you’re eliminating the near infrared, and you’re getting a more purified far infrared, which gives you greater penetration, therefore, greater circulation, better cardiovascular function, better energy production, increased nitric oxide production, and so forth. So, yeah, you really have an incredible product here. Near infrared energy and mid infrared energy do not pulsate the water molecules at all because water is a far infrared molecule and only absorbs far, and a lot of people don’t understand that.
Yeah, that’s a very important distinction. The key is the water. Yeah.
Yeah. Excellent. Very, very good point, Phil.
Thank you. Hey, listen, I want to pick your brain. I know that you read a lot of studies about this.
This is what you do. This is who you are. Phil, will you share with us some of the exciting studies that have been done and about how they impact us, whether it is to decrease toxic levels in the body or how they improve by improving cellular energy, nitric oxide production, whatever you feel free to want to discuss.
I’d love to hear you. There is a 2004 study given at the Taiwan Biophotonics Conference, Pacific Rim Conference in Taiwan in 2004, comparing the Relax Sauna radiator. They have a 150-watt radiator, and they compared that to a 250-watt heat lamp, near-infrared heat lamp.
And the Relax Sauna, this is on PubMed.com. Yep. And the Relax Sauna radiator penetrated more deeply in humans, mice, and pigs, far more, and also increased microcirculation, far more than the near-infrared light bulb. And so that’s proof that near-infrared does not do – near-infrared lasers is good stuff, but that’s a specific frequency.
Yes. Those can penetrate nine inches. And then when they talk about near-infrared sonars penetrating nine inches, it’s not true at all because they refer you to an article, to a study that says lasers promote – lasers penetrate nine inches.
But standard near-infrared does not, in other words. One millimeter, two millimeters only. Which is really relatively insignificant.
Well, they’re still good. They use them in animals, and they use them for French fries, and Kellogg used them, but they fell out of disfavor because people were not careful and they burned themselves. Ah, right.
But there are people getting results, but not – if those same people getting results tried the Relax Sauna, and we have had many who have, there’s a night and day difference. Yeah, superior technology. Yeah, very much.
And also there’s a lady who has a beautiful, pristine colon hydrotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen, ozone massage therapy clinic in Portland, Oregon. Her name is Rebecca Harder, and she wrote this book that she gives to her clients. Gastra Girl, saving America one colon at a time.
I love it. And you know how you talked about the Relax Sauna sort of being chinsy? Well, she says, you know, I know the Relax Sauna. She’s got eight pages on the Relax Sauna in that book.
She says, I know the Relax Sauna does not look very nice. It’s hard to believe that the best sauna, meaning the Relax Sauna, is not the most expensive and nicest looking. I understand your gut reaction, she says.
I turned my nose up at the Relax Sauna at the health conferences for 10 years, and then I tried it. I was sold in three minutes. I could feel the difference.
Instant relaxation. Yeah, I would agree with you. I mean, the first time I went in.
Listen, I have an arrangement with my amazing wife, who really is the ruler at the practice. I mean, she’s the manager. She’s the one who points me in the direction and says, go help Mrs. Smith, go help Mr. Bill, and I do so.
She really is the brains behind it all. She makes sure everything runs as it should, as a well-oiled machine, so to speak. And our agreement is that I don’t go to these events and buy things.
Well, I was so impressed, Phil. Truly, I was so impressed with your sauna that I just said, Don, I remember handing you a card and saying, I want one, send it to me by next week. And I’ve never looked back.
And I’ve had people in my practice say, this is one of the most understated, undervalued technologies in your practice. It is absolutely amazing. All right, from here, I want to do this, Phil.
You really piqued my interest. You talked about improving microcirculation. Let’s talk about that.
For example, diabetics have, as a general rule, very compromised microcirculatory issues. Do you have any studies? Do you have any information about how your sauna improves the microcirculation of diabetics and those who maybe have vascular conditions that cause decreases in circulation? We have a doctor in New Jersey, I think Dr. Everhart. There’s a video testimony on YouTube talking about the success that he’s had, incredible success with his diabetes patients.
We also have many testimonies from some of our customers who it has helped a lot. The problem with doing a Relax Sauna with diabetes is that you’re not going to need as much insulin. Phil, I hate to do this.
I hate to do this, my friend. I’ve got to cut you off. We’ve got to take our third commercial break.
My apologies, Phil. I promise we’ll pick this up as soon as we come back in the next 60 to 90 seconds. Folks, I’m Dr. Nelson Blumash.

I’m so happy to be with all of you. My favorite holiday throughout the entire year is coming up in two days. And this has been a little bit of a rough week for me.
I had a very dear friend pass, and I was given the honor, though very difficult, to eulogize him yesterday. And this coming Thursday, I am in charge of the memorial for my mother who passed away this summer. So it’s been a challenging week for me spiritually and emotionally.
I was so excited that my son called me right minutes before my show and let me know that he had passed his last national board of medical school. That’s a big deal. He’s a brilliant and very fine young man, and he’s going to be integrating both traditional and nontraditional medicine.
And he is going to be a man to reckon with because he’ll have the best of both worlds. And I can’t wait to see him out in the world as a practicing internal medicine physician. Phil, thank you again for joining me.
We’re down to the last segment. I interrupted you. You were telling me that you had a doctor who was doing, it sounds like quite a bit of work with diabetics, and using your Relax sauna to help improve microcirculation.
What else did you want to share with me about that? Well, you know, basically, by cleansing the body and getting all the debris out, the whole body works better. Like I said earlier, a clean engine works better than a dirty engine. Right.
And, you know, when I go into the Relax sauna, I feel purified and cleansed. And I love to feel that feeling of purification. When I’m at shows, the way I get people in the sauna, I simply tell them that it feels like your grandma’s hugging you.
Oh, yes. Yes, you do. And then I also say that it feels like, it almost feels like you’re basking in divine love.
Because when I go into the sauna, I feel, you know, so much unconditional love, so much, you know, you’re in the womb. You feel like you’re in the presence of a Qigong master. You feel like you’re a beach in Hawaii.
You know, you really feel like you’re in the now, and there are no cares in the world. You’re being nurtured and you feel alive, really alive. Well, it’s a very comforting experience.
That’s for sure. Yes. And that’s in itself, you know, that it gives you mental clarity.
It brings joy. And when I meditate in the sauna in the morning, I can get there in half the time. I feel so tuned in.
And this is what a lot of other people have said. There’s something special about the Relax sauna. We have about 20 video testimonies on it.
There’s a spiritual purity element in the Relax sauna. You know, I like to say the side effect is euphoria. Yeah, no question.
And I’ll tell you, it’s interesting too. You talk about detoxifying. One of the things I notice is that when I’m regular, which I typically am lately, I haven’t been as regular as I’d like, but normally I get in, if I’m unencumbered, I get in my sauna a few times a week.
I noticed that my, I don’t have bad breath. I don’t have under armor smell and I don’t have sweat smell. So I can work out as hard as I want.
I drip sweat and it has no foul smell. That’s one of the ways that I know. And it’s funny because if I take a little time away from my sauna and I, you know, go on about life, all of a sudden it’s like, wait a minute.
My sweat smells a little bit here. It’s time to get back into the sauna. We run into a lot of non sweaters who are no longer non sweaters.
And Dr. Roger Billika, when he, when he told me that when people are in the Relax Sauna and they finally start sweating, that there’s an, their journey, their health journey increases. It’s like it takes on a new level of health. And you know, we have people who’ve never sweated in their life, hardly haven’t sweated in 10, 20 years.
And we’ve never been able to not get them to sweat. One person took 51 minutes and then three doctors had their credit cards ready. Yeah.
They saw her finally sweating. Well, you know, Phil, I know you know this, but I’m gonna share this with her listening and viewing audience people. I would suggest, and I, and I don’t have any current backing, but I heard this years ago from quite a few of the top doctors.
I knew is that you don’t want to be a person who doesn’t sweat because if you don’t sweat, you have an increased risk of disease, particularly things like cancer. Sweating is very important to eliminate poisons from the body. And in doing so remove to remove mutagens that could lead you potentially down a path to having diseases like cancer.
So sweating is, you know, I know we went through this time at gyms where it wasn’t cool to sweat. You know, I remember having a few people walk up to me and saying, you’re sweating. Would you mind leaving the gym now and go shower? And it’s like, yeah, I do mind.
I’m here to sweat. And if you’re not sweating, you might want to ask yourself why you’re not working out hard enough to sweat. Sweating is vital to supporting life at its best.
I think tears of laughter are great because if you don’t laugh, the tears will come out through crying. Yeah, exactly. So you have to have a sense of humor.
And if you laugh about every situation or you just, when you accept the situation, then you can understand it. And, and it’s like, you know, you just flow with it and you just understand that later on reason comes after the fact you’ll understand the situation later by just accepting the reality of what is right now. And it’s much way to have a happier life and having a sense of humor.
Is really, really important. Yeah. It’s also, you’re, you’re so right.
It’s one of the things that I realized recently that was so critical. I mentioned to you, these last three months have been so difficult emotionally after I lost my mom. And then I had a crazy chain of six other people that I knew who passed away.
And then I lost the, you know, my friend that I spoke about days ago and, you know, had all kinds of really intense breathing problems, digestive problems. And then yesterday after helping to eulogize my friend, it was, it was like this negative anchoring demon, if you will, was removed from me. And all of a sudden I could breathe and, and my body didn’t hurt.
My back wasn’t locked up and I woke up today and I felt almost like a new person. It’s, it’s crazy. How important, how we think is and the energy of our thoughts, you know, you, apparently what I did is I locked in a lot of sadness and a lot of angst from, from this series of death of the people I knew around me.
And as soon as I let it leave my body, there was freedom and health. And so go ahead. When you, when you can integrate thinking and feeling in your life, that’s a secret because then, then you are free and the relaxed on it by activating the parasympathetic nervous system, getting you into that calm state.
Then you can balance those two faculties and then you feel more free. And, and I’m into freedom. That’s what my life’s been about since I was little.
Yeah. And, and, you know, in the movie field of dreams, you know, they say build it and you will come, but the better message, the more important message is ease his pain. And that’s at the beginning of the movie and people don’t realize that necessarily, but when you ease another person’s pain, They become free and the relaxed on it is a wonderful avenue.
I have to help people really relieve their pain and therefore they become more free. There’s a mental, emotional, and physical pain and the Relax Sauna covers them all and brings joy. That’s the greatest attribute.
And that’s what determines it from other saunas. The purpose of creating the Relax Sauna was to create hot springs, this energy in, in, out of electricity and this electrical company in Taiwan was asked by a Japanese company to do this. It took them 10 years to figure out how to do this.
That’s why the Relax Sauna generators are so unique and, and they know the company has been able to match their technology. And by using the tent as a mirror, they can, they can sell the Relax Sauna. The price is going to be in 2020.
Actually, the price is going to be $2,000. Wow. The internet, the internet special is going to be $1,300.
So it’s just a little bit increase in what people are paying now. Yes. But this is a $2,000 sauna.
It’s not an $850 sauna. It’s not a $500 sauna. It’s not a $300 sauna.
This is a $2,000 sauna that as of January 1st, we’ll be selling for $1,300 online and worth every penny. Yeah, no question. It has really made a difference in my health and the health of my patients.
I know countless doctors at the events that you and I attend all across the United States, all the conferences we attend, all mentioned how effective and how powerful your technology is for inspiring and optimizing health. Well, Phil, listen, is there, go ahead. The doctor Anderson has a cancer clinic in Seattle.
He uses the Relax Sauna while doing IV therapy treatments and he can increase core temperature, not 3.2 degrees in 25 minutes, but 4.2 degrees in one hour while doing IV and other clinics use them. They’re trying to do IV vitamin C, IV therapy. They can’t get into the vein.
You can use the Relax Sauna with your clothes on and get rid of pain. They use it for seven minutes to get the veins to open. Increase the circulation and deliver.
Phil, I have to interrupt you, my friend. It’s that time I’ve got to let you let people know how they can reach out to you. We’re already at the end of our show.
We got 45 seconds left. How can people reach you to get ahold of you if they’re interested in purchasing your sauna or getting more information about far infrared technology? Relax Saunas with the s .com RelaxSaunas.com. My email is Phil at Relax Saunas.com. My cell phone is 626-200-8454, you know, or they can contact you as well. All right.
Relax saunas.com has lots and lots. Go to YouTube and put in Relax Sauna testimonials. All right.
