How Far Infrared Sauna Transforms Health
Interview with Dr Robert G. Silverman
Hi everybody, Dr. Rob Silverman here, Proven Health Alternatives. I’m here with an outstanding episode with an outstanding guest, Phil Wilson. We’re going to be talking about far-infrared sauna.
Let me give you some of the benefits. Let me tee it up all for you. The usage of far-infrared sauna improves detoxification in the body, increases basic metabolic rate and metabolism, aids in weight loss, helps increase blood circulation, reduces pain, it’s anti-aging, it helps with longevity, it helps with skin renovation, it actually improves cardiovascular issues, it improves immune function, it improves sleep, and last but not least, it helps with stress management.
Phil, how did you get into this far-infrared sauna stuff? Well, I’ve been into saunas all my life. At age 16, I think when I first experienced a sauna, it was like, you know, what is more, what feels better than sweating and being hot and warm and just, you feel the cleansing, you feel the rejuvenation, you feel the detox, you feel the dissolving of all this gunk, I call it dross, the dross leaves, it’s like meditating. And it’s like, oh my God, and frankly, when I’m in the Relax Sauna, it almost feels like, when I first started meditating, it feels like basking in divine love, I mean, you feel all the cells of your body tingling and cleansing and being purified and you feel so refreshed and rejuvenated and tuned in and grounded, that’s what the Relax Sauna does for me from the word get-go.
And I had other saunas before this, and they’re good, but they’re not the Relax Saunas, like the Jack Kennedy debates, but you’re no John F. Kennedy. Yeah, I remember that, that was a heck of a statement back then. Interesting, you know, you talk about the Relax Sauna, so the Relax Sauna is a far-infrared sauna, so let’s define early, there’s a far-infrared sauna, there’s an infrared sauna, there’s red light, I’m choking when I say that, there’s mid-saunas, there’s a bunch of saunas out there, tell us what the difference is and why far-infrared sauna is the choice.
Well, there’s a book by Dr. Sherry Rogers called Detoxify or Die, came out around 2001, she spawned the far-infrared sauna industry. Basically, as an environmental medical doctor, people with multi-chemical sensitivities and environmental concerns were left to dead by the medical establishment, I’m sure you’ve never heard of that before. So anyway, they came to her in the late 90s, and she got them all back to feeling balanced, having lives and being able to live their lives using far-infrared saunas.
Now, she doesn’t say near-infrared, she doesn’t say full spectrum, she doesn’t say infrared, she says far-infrared, and she even points out that we are far-infrared light beams, we shine 3 to 50 microns of vibration, mainly at 9.4 microns. That’s the frequency of far-infrared, water is a far-infrared molecule, it’s at 8 microns, that’s the frequency it vibrates at. And since we’re 99% water, according to Dr. Gerald Pollack, who wrote the fourth phase of water, and he says that the far-infrared sauna gives the power, it gives the plant the power to move and to bend, and the far-infrared light creates more easy zone water than any other light.
The far-infrared energy, there’s a guy who sells all sorts of saunas, or comparing 30 different portable saunas, he says the more far-infrared have, the more effective the sauna is. And the culmination of all this is Dr. Bill Agpenaar mentions in his book, and I think you know Bill, and he’s, anyway, he’s been promoting the Relax Sauna like for 20 years, he wrote the book, No Sweat, No Sweat. And he says in there, he quotes Dr. Yamasaki, who wrote the book, The Science of Far-Infrared Therapy.
And she says, upon application of the 7 to 14 micron frequency, the wavelength matters, water will vibrate. And that will weaken the ionic bonds between the hydrogen and the oxygen, and water clusters and it clumps, and it traps poisonous gases in there. And so, with the release of the ionic bonds, it will release the sulfur dioxide, the mercury vapor, the heavy metals, and whatever poisonous gases in our body will be released.
And that’s, and it’s the 7 to 14 micron frequency that does it. So, we sent the Relax Sauna to Polytechnic University in LA, and they gave us a 60-minute rundown of the frequency, and it was between 7 and 14 microns for 60 straight minutes. Dr. Peter Hotez We then sent to Harvard-MIT Science and Technology Lab, and we sent not only the Relax Sauna, but we sent two other saunas.
We sent a $1,300 portable sauna that was a full spectrum, and we sent an Amazon sauna for $250, selling for about. And they measured the Relax Sauna and verified with what Polytechnic University, we’re all between 7 and 14 microns. And the other sauna, the $1,300 one, we were shocked, was 8% far infrared.
It was from 1.2 to 6 microns, and it was 37% mid and 55% near. And the Amazon sauna was from 0.95 to 1.32 microns, which is 100% near. And let me interject, because there’s a lot to unbox there.
Dr. Peter Hotez Right, yeah. Dr. Anthony Fauci Let me recap for everybody, and then let’s take it to the next step. So the far infrared saunas, which are the choice, are at a 9.4-micron frequency.
The infrared technology, or far infrared technology, actually penetrates, I know you’re going to tell everybody, about an inch and a half to two inches into the body, vibrating water molecules at a cellular level. This ability allows the release of encapsulated toxic gases and heavy metals like mercury, lead, chromium, cadmium, and arsenic, hence allowing for detoxification of the body at the cellular level. And here’s a huge takeaway.
I’m going to add this, and I want you to run with this. Dr. Anthony Fauci Far infrared saunas can increase body core temperatures 3.2 degrees Fahrenheit per session, and those sessions should last less than 20 minutes. Dr. Peter Hotez About 20, 25 minutes, yes.
Now, we’ve had, I mean, multiple people. I mean, there was an article on reddit.com in February 2017. He says, here’s the research on far infrared saunas.
Lots of research. It will do so much for heart rate variability. Wow.
And he went and said, OK, I’m going to buy a $200 Amazon sauna and see if it’ll do what the research on the wooden infrared saunas does. It didn’t raise body temperature more than a half a degree. It had no effect on heart rate variability.
He was really disappointed. So he got a $500 sauna from Amazon, supposed to be the best results. Then he got the Relax Sauna.
Relax Sauna increased body temperature 2.9, 3.2 degrees in 25 minutes. And the heart rate variability results that he showed on the Relax Sauna put to shame the results from the wooden infrared saunas and all the research. In terms of increasing heart rate variability, there was a chiropractor at a sport at a nutritional conference in Pittsburgh about three weeks ago.
He said, my baseline heart rate variability is 50. He got in the Relax Sauna for about seven minutes and he was there and it got down to 30. And then when he got out, it blew him away.
It was 136 heart rate variability. He said, I have been doing this for years and years. I’ve never seen anything that came close to this and those kinds of results.
Let me jump on that heart rate variability. This is a great marker. You can check it with your Oura ring.
There’s many methods to check heart rate variability. The sauna leads to an increase in heart rate variability, which is considered a positive sign indicating improved autonomic nervous system function. So it’s the balance between your sympathetic, your fight and flight, and your parasympathetic, your rest and digest system, which implies tremendous homostasis, which is health.
But essentially, a far infrared sauna can help you transition from fight or flight state, which most people are in, they’re stressed. It poses an issue to a more relaxed state because it enhances, as you said so aptly, the parasympathetic nervous system. It gives the balance.
And I can tell you for me as a non-medical provider, to talk HRV to a medical provider, it really captivates their attention. The Harvard-MIT report we got, I told you it said the Relax Sauna was 100% far infrared, and the others were like whatever. But the important information or the most wow-wow information is that we, the penetration intensity of the sauna was three and a half times of the $1,300 sauna.
Wow. Four and a half times that of the Amazon sauna, which means that the $1,300 sauna is probably only worth about $400 or $500. The Relax Sauna is worth about $20,000, and we sell it for $1,500 in 2024 and $1,700 in 2025.
So again- Penetration is deeper in- Yes. Far infrared sauna. I think we said one and a half to two inches, where the infrared’s two millimeters.
And that penetration is leading you to the ability to raise the core temperature. Yes. And that’s the key takeaway.
I mean, right there, if you’re listening, everybody, right there, you want the penetration of the rays to stimulate your core temperature. Now, Phil, you’re an expert in this. Can you tell people the reason that core temperature versus surface temperature is much more important in outcome with the usage of the sauna? You know, I’m in the Relax Sauna.
You can see it behind me, and I’m sitting there, and sometimes I feel a burning sensation in my knee, and then I touch my knee, and it’s not even hot on the outside. In other words, you know, like the Mayo Clinic, by the way, says that their heart patients should never do a hot tub and never do a wooden sauna, unless it’s far infrared, a finished sauna. They say they should not do, because the heart has to race to find an equilibrium between the inside temperature and the outside temperature.
With a Relax Sauna or a far infrared sauna, it increases body temperature, and then the heart doesn’t have to race. So the Mayo Clinic announced in 2004 that far infrared saunas are extremely therapeutic for the heart patients, and they recommend it. Outstanding.
Now, I wanted to talk to you about the finished sauna. That’s a very popular sauna versus a far infrared sauna. Many people use a finished sauna.
Tell them the differences, what’s good, what’s bad, and some key takeaways. Yes. Well, you know, Rhonda Patrick and Andrew Uckerman and others promote the finished saunas, and they’re talking to the extreme athlete who wants to get up the temperature to $200, 200 degrees in order to increase.
Well, you know, and they say that the wooden infrared saunas cannot do that. However, they don’t know about the relaxed far infrared sauna, because we can raise the temperature inside the sauna to 100, 140, 150, and raise core temperature just as much or more than the wooden finished saunas. They don’t know that.
They just haven’t discovered it. And they’re saying the wooden ones can’t do it. See, we’re a cross between the portable saunas and the wooden saunas.
We’re no man’s land, because our technology uses computer technology, and we’re the only one that can sell a lamp using our technology that has incredible results. And so it’s like, you know, there’s ceramic and there’s carbon panels. And some saunas are a mixture of either, or sometimes they’re just one.
And we’re on a totally different level, because they all have to obey the Planck’s law. But because we use computer technology using semiconductor chips, we can give you 100% pure far infrared ray, 7 to 14 micron, and they don’t know how to do it. And it’s like, now also, there’s some research done in Chicago about not just raising heart rate variability, I mean, about the core temperature, but the Relax Sauna in terms of raising heart rate variability put that $1,300 portable sauna to shame as well.
And they found out that the Relax Sauna could increase muscle oxygen 45%. Mm, wow. Now, I don’t think any other sauna could do more than 20.
Wow, that’s a takeaway. So the Finnish sauna, interestingly enough, just for some clarity. Right.
The traditional wooden building or a room that uses rocks. Create a warm, relaxing environment. Okay.
The temperature goes supposedly between 176 and 212, beeping red light. The optimum temperature for sauna, write this down, is 146 degrees. Once you get over 180, you’re in a very precarious temperature range.
And when you go over 200, you damage what we call the blood brain barrier, the encasement of the brain. It’s sort of like the gut barrier. There’s a blood brain barrier.
Damaging the blood brain barrier allows things to pass into the brain that shouldn’t pass. So you don’t want to heat your head over 200 degrees. One of the advantages of the Relax Sauna is that your head is outside the tent.
And lastly, it’s very often the Finnish sauna from Finland is heated with wood-burning stove or an electric heater. So, you know, Rhonda Patrick is great. Andrew Huberman is great.
Right. When I just disagree on them on the type of sauna that they should use, they just haven’t seen what we’re talking about at this juncture. Yeah.
That said, talk a little bit about the construct of the sauna and how you were able to get all these advantageous health-promoting properties. Well, we use a very interesting principle of light. Okay.
And that’s the secret of why this $20,000 sauna is selling for $1,500, $1,700, $2,100, $2,300. Because what we use, the principle of a light is called reflection. In other words, when invisible light hits a mirror, it’s still going to be reflected.
And that’s something that’s hard for people to wrap their, you know, they say, okay, the invisible light’s going to hit that silver lining inside the sauna and bounce back. I said, well, that, you know, it may or may not be true. But when I go into the sauna, I can feel the intense energy in my lower back, in my lung, my spine that’s coming from the, and I can put my hands in front of it.
And you can feel it coming back. It’s like people say, how do you know far-infrared goes through clothes? I said, well, when I was a little kid, I went out into the sun and I closed my eyes and I could feel that searing, incredible core temperature warming my bones to the core. Okay.
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. That’s how you know, you know, through experience, it doesn’t matter what anyone says.
They can’t convince me that that sun doesn’t go through clothes. Now, near infrared does not penetrate the clothes, but far infrared does. Near infrared only penetrates one to two millimeter.
Far infrared penetrates 40 to 50 millimeters or one to three quarter to two inches. And it’s the intensity penetration that Harvard and MIT told us about. That’s the value of a sauna.
You know, and someone else mentioned to me that it’s chemical or phototonic with near, but the far infrared is oscillatory. It’s a vibration. We saw the difference between their incredible energy medicine techniques and machines out there, as you know, in the last 10, 20 years, so many have been invented.
But the far infrared saunas seem to be the the Robin to all those batmans. We make them work better because we are the only one that raises body temperature by vibrating the water molecules because you. I you’re on fire, but I have to tell you, and that’s a key takeaway.
So everybody who’s listening right then and there, the core temperature is raised again. I can’t emphasize the importance of that. Would it be fair to say that a steam sauna just raises the temperature of the skin but doesn’t raise your core temperature? I think that would be fair to say because it’s not energy medicine device.
It doesn’t oscillate and get the water molecule to vibrate. So you can have Lyme disease and go out and play basketball for an hour and sweat like crazy, but it’s not going to help your Lyme symptoms go away. So sweating isn’t the answer.
Yeah, that that’s great because people perceive if they sweat, they get rid of toxins. Well, you know, we we there’s a Japanese people who had the Relax Sauna like 20 years ago. They did a little study and they gathered the sweat from from the Relax Sauna and they gathered sweat from heavy exercise.
I think and I think this is pretty much traditional that 17 percent of the toxins from a farm fed sauna or 17 percent is toxins and in a regular sauna only about one to two percent. Wow. So yeah.
Now we talked about the steam sauna and, you know, I keep coming back to this really important point about core temperature. Let’s give the secret sauce behind it. The raising of the core temperature stimulates something called a heat shock protein.
Yes. Which is a family of proteins that help cells survive stressful conditions such as high temperatures. It’s called hormesis.
Our body loves a little stress. It’s made to be able to help itself. So when you’re hot, you’re going to release or a little heated, you’re going to release this heat shock protein, which is produced ubiquitously within the cells of all living organisms.
Some examples of things that generate the production of heat shock proteins, the following regular physical activity, aerobic and resistance training, high interval training, you know, high intense interval training. Do you want to know what they’re activated on? You’re going to love this. They’re activated between 104 to 105.8 degrees.
So if you look at the average person who’s 98 to 98.6, if the core temperature is raised 3.2 degrees, you’re right smack in the middle generating heat shock proteins. So Phil, did you know what you were doing when you set out? Or was it one of those things where you just threw the ball in the air and it bounced and life is good? Come on, the Relax Sauna came to me like I was selling a portable sauna, a good portable sauna, actually far better than most of the Amazon saunas that are sold. And I was selling that for a year and I would take the little camping chair out.
I’d go in. It had panels around it. It took me 18 minutes to start sweating, 55 minutes for a complete sweat.
And I’ve been promoting, I sold six saunas in one year. And I get a call from the Relax Sauna company in Taiwan. Wow.
Their technology was more advanced and it used semiconductor chips. It took the company 10 years to find out a way to give you the pure energy of a hot springs in southern Japan where people would, all their health problems would go away. So we got the, it took them 10 years to do that.
And it turns out that they measured it in Taiwan way back and told us that it was 4 to 14 microns, of course. And they said, but I didn’t realize that they tested it. All of their energy was between 4 and 14.
I assumed all the other saunas and they’re all good and they’re all going to help. In other words, if you live five miles from a grocery store and someone gives you a bicycle, you’re going to be ecstatic and tell the world how great bicycles are until someone gives you a Relax Sauna, you’re masquerading as a Mercedes and you can actually bring the groceries back. But the benefits of Far-Infrared in terms of activating the parasympathetic and the Relax Sauna, because it gives you the pure frequency that Dr. Yamasaki talks about in her book, The Science of Far-Infrared Therapy, where she also mentions that the antidote, the Far-Infrared energy is the antidote for EMF, for microwave EMF.
We’ve got a guy in Oklahoma, he’s a good friend of mine. He’s been using the Relax Sauna for 15 years and he’s pretty intuitive. He says that of the 14 EMF protecting devices he’s used, none of them work as good as the Relax Sauna radiator.
And people have come to our booth and said, oh, you have dangerous EMF in your sauna. And Harvard-MIT said we had one twelfth the EMF of the low EMF full spectrum $1,300 sauna. We had one twelfth.
And again, it’s like, I have to deal with this. People say, I have a wooden infrared sauna. I’m so proud of myself.
It’s cost me $8,000. That certainly couldn’t do what my sauna does. And Rebecca Harder wrote a book called Goucher Girl, Healing the World One Colon at a Time.
And for 10 years, she looked at our sauna and just turned her head and her nose and walked by. And then after 10 years, she got in. And in three minutes, she could tell the difference.
Wow. We give you warm, loving light. We give you loving light.
And that’s why people say it feels like my grandma’s giving me a loving, wonderful hug. Wow. Yes.
We’ve got to the time where we do, we call it rapid fire. So I’m going to say something and you’re going to give me a pretty pithy answer if you may. So when it comes to conditions that sauna can help with, let’s start with muscle recovery.
45% increase in muscle oxygen. People who do marathons, they come back and they have their day back after five or seven minutes, or they can do it. You know, we have a lot of professional baseball players doing the Relax Sauna after the game or after a workout.
Mitochondrial function. There’s a guy I met two months ago or four months ago in Albuquerque. He’s got $6,000 machines.
And he says, and he got in the Relax Sauna. First step, I can feel the mitochondria in my hands. Now I can feel it in my feet, now in my legs, now in my chest, now in my brain.
I’ve never seen any $5,000 machine generate as much mitochondria as you do. And the people who promote the near-infrared, they say they do special stuff with mitochondria. That’s nice.
And maybe they do. And they’re all good machines. But the Relax Sauna, I don’t know any near-infrared sauna that can get the results.
We can with the Relax Sauna. And we’re continuing to do research to verify what I’m saying. But I’ve known this for 22 years.
Because when you go on the Relax Sauna, I mean, you feel surrounded. You feel like, as they said in the original literature, you feel like you’re in the presence of a Qigong master. You feel like you’re in the presence of a being giving you unconditional love.
How about neurodegenerative diseases, its effect on that? You know, the Relax Sauna is, to me, a step-down version of divine love in a box. And if you have neurological dysfunction, what can’t, you know, and just put divine love in there, and it’s going to have a, we’ve got, I was just reading about this the other day, or just seeing someone give me a video on it. And yes, this, the Relax Sauna will help with that.
I don’t necessarily have any stories. But if it doesn’t, we have a 30-day money-back guarantee, and very few people return it. Lastly for you, inflammation.
That’s, I think we can actually say that we have a medical device, Far Infrared Sky Eye Lamp. It’s a professional model lamp. And that’s a medical device.
And we can actually say that it gets rid of inflammation. But yes, if you increase the circulation and lower the blood pressure, it’ll get rid of inflammation. And once you get rid of inflammation, it gets rid of the pain.
I’m going to share some effects that sauna has on cardiovascular risk. One, it improves blood circulation. Two, data has provided that it decreases blood pressure.
Three, the data also supports decreasing inflammation and oxidative stress, to speak to what you said before. Many of my patients ask, how often should you sauna? Well, if you’re able to sauna two to three times per week, you will decrease your cardiovascular risk by 27%. If you’re able to sauna five to seven times per week, you will decrease your cardiovascular risk by 50%.
How long? Just at about 20 minutes, 19 minutes is a great cutoff. And still 11 to 19 minutes gives a significant cardiovascular risk decrease. Without question, as far as I’m concerned, infrared, far infrared saunas are a longevity tool.
Why don’t you take that and run with that? There’s your baton, my friend. Yes. The far infrared energy, you know, again, it activates the parasympathetic more so than any other sauna.
For some reason, the Relax Sauna is able to do that. And that’s the magic. See, I have a quasi-definition of pain.
It’s called the awareness of time. Have you ever waited, hurried, or worried? And so when you get in the Relax Sauna and there’s no time, the mind doesn’t get in our way and true healing can take place. So if I were to ask you the true purpose of the far infrared sauna, what would you respond? Vibrate the water molecules and raise body temperature and fulfill the dream of Hippocrates.
The dream of Hippocrates, find me a way to create fever and sweat, and I will cure any disease, any disease. You know, there’s a, and who doesn’t love Hippocrates? I mean, the father of modern medicine 2,500 years ago, and we’re still quoting him. Unbelievable.
Within that, there’s a lot of conversation, googlygop, if you will, about infrared, infrared, red light therapy, a sauna, et cetera. Why don’t we dispel some of the myths about that? Great. Are you going to do it for me? Why don’t you give me your take and I’ll talk and I’ll add.
Well, okay. So everybody knows I am a laser guy. I am a non-thermal, low-level laser guy.
I do use red light, but I use red light in a laser aspect for healing and cellular communication. The type of infrared lights that they’re talking about are just heating the outside of the body, which you and I have already discussed and found to be, you know, not all that effective. I won’t say it’s deleterious, but it’s not all that effective.
So I use, you know, to be fair, I do work with Phil. I do use the infrared relax, far infrared sauna. Everybody knows that.
I have it in my house. My wife uses it. One of the things I like about it between you and I, and hopefully she doesn’t hear this one, is it’s movable.
So when she ticks me off, I can move it in front of her and get in front of her in the TV and really make an impact. That said, what you’re feeling on the red light, infrared light, you know, all that kind of stuff is a sauna. Well, there’s Ari Witten has written a book on red light therapy.
And he himself, we must have spent weeks sending him all the information on the Relax Sauna before he would finally even look at it. He wanted all the data and he did it. And he did a podcast with one of my men and he sold like 140 Relax Saunas.
So, and then I have a doctor, an MD, PhD friend in Philadelphia who wrote a paper on it saying that everything red and infrared can do. And a lot of times they can do unique stuff, but the far infrared in general is able to do the same or more than what the red light and near infrared can do. And again, I honor all technologies.
I was at a show and the people with microcurrent technology down the aisle, she came to the sauna, said, I’m bringing back my partner. The partner came back. And after eight minutes, she said, I had cancer four years ago, and I can feel all my systems being rebuilt in the Relax Sauna.
We need this. We need the Relax Sauna to augment what our system doesn’t finish. Even the EE systems people, one of the centers, you know, someone stayed all night in it and had a good experience, but they were exhausted.
They got in the Relax Sauna in five minutes, and they could experience the whole benefit of what they went through because the Relax Sauna, it’s like this relax, this lady who’s a detox specialist in Las Vegas. She says, you know, she had that $1,300 sauna and she was telling me it was the best. And she got in the Relax Sauna and she said, wow, she bought a Relax Sauna.
A year later, I saw her again and she was getting another sauna. She said, I gave that $1,300 sauna away. I gave my higher dose blanket away because they left me depleted of energy.
And the Relax Sauna, not only did it detox me like, oh my gosh, but it left me revitalized. And I don’t have time to not be revitalized. So there’s something that happens in the Relax Sauna because it activates the parasympathetic so amazingly because it gives you the exact frequency.
It’s like we give you 100% pure far-infrared loving light. It’s soft, it’s loving, it feels warming. The other saunas that have 50% near and mid or more, that’s harsh, but you can’t even tell it’s harsh until you distinguish it from the soft loving light of pure far-infrared light that’s the same energy as us.
And that’s why it penetrates. We are far-infrared light beings. And therefore, when we give you the same energy as us, we’re not going to notice it’s not us.
And therefore, we’re not going to resist it. And the resistance causes harshness. But the total penetration and that’s what we want.
We want the being absorbed and penetrated. Again, it works with vibration, not photon. It’s sort of different.
Right. Photons are really emitted and that would be a low-level laser, which is affecting the cells in the mitochondria in a different manner. Whereas you’re affecting and reaching deep into the body where the toxins are stored because of the wavelength of 9.4 microns.
A mid-wavelength for sauna would be 6.7. Obviously not effective. It’s below seven. And near are as in nanometers, which is a totally difference.
That’s a visible light spectrum. Interesting. So, you know, it’s funny.
Have a lot of practitioners that utilize a lot of nutritional detoxification programs. Some of them have your sauna in their office and they offer a 20-minute session so someone can expedite the toxic egress. In addition to that, some people sell and rent these.
Now, can you give me some great stories and little testimonials about what those people have talked about, you know, using your sauna in conjunction with a detoxification program? Well, when I go to shows, people get it. You know, I’m trying to get people in the sauna so they have the experience that it’s just a mental concept of what it is. So I tell them it feels like your grandma’s giving you a loving hug and that gets half of them in.
And then that doesn’t work for everyone. So I say, well, it’ll get rid of 50% to 100% of your pain, guaranteed every time without sweating with your clothes on in five to seven minutes. And people who had no interest in getting in, who are sitting there in pain will go in and after five to seven minutes have very little pain, sometimes none, at least half.
We put people in with sunburn. See, Dr. Yamasaki also talked about the foreign threat antidote sunburn. What is sunburn? It’s an overexposure of ultraviolet light.
It’s like the effect that omega-3 has on omega-6 and too much omega-6. You do omega-3 and it balances it. So the foreign threat light will undo the damage.
I put seven people in with pain of seven or eight of sunburn into the Relax Sauna and they all come out with no pain or very little pain, pain of one. Outstanding. Who would have thought? Who would have thought without question? I get a lot of patients that ask me about your sauna.
They say, is it better in the morning? Is it better at night? Before workout, after workout, eating, these type of things. So do you have a time and a situation that’s optimized for outcome? I think everyone finds their own rhythm. I do it 20 minutes every morning.
It puts a cup of toffee to shame. Then if I have time, I’ll get out for five minutes, drink some water, maybe take a shower, go back and do another 20 minutes. And then spa day for Phil, I’ll do it three times.
And I feel like I’ve been at the spa for nine hours. I love it. I’ll wake up in the middle of the night and I’ll do the sauna for 10, 15 minutes, or I’ll do it before I go to bed.
And of course, the five to seven minute sessions in the middle of the day. One of the people who’s working with us says, at nighttime, we have these four minute sessions, sleep, deep sleep and all that. He says, if you do the Relax Sauna, like four times a day, you’re getting a similar kind of effect that it’s worth studying.
Everyone can do their own studying and find out what works for them. But I drink water before. And man, I feel like a million bucks when I get out.
Love it. What a longevity tool. EMF, people are afraid of EMF.
How do you address that? Well, I addressed it partially when I said that the far-infrared energy, the seven to 14 micron antidotes EMF. And the Harvard study pointed out that we had one 12th EMF of a low EMF sauna. But, you know, we have four people in Southern California and Arizona who go into houses to make them EMF safe.
Now, if these people have Relax Saunas in their home, then obviously it’s not dangerous and all these four do. And the fear of EMF is 100 times more dangerous than EMF. This cell phone is also 100 times more dangerous than any household appliance.
Yes. And the Wi-Fi in a building that you go into, even if you don’t have a cell phone, is also probably 100 times more dangerous than the EMF from a household appliance. And so and even Dr. Klinghart, who has introduced the world to the dangers of microwave EMF, uh, uses the Relax Sauna and his partner took the sauna up to the hotel room at a autism conference and the elbow pain she’d had for a year, gone in one session.
And they have access to 20, 30 different of the most expensive medical devices and energy medicine devices. And none of them were able to help that. So you go figure.
And we’ve got, we had a lady, she had a flu shot 13 years ago. She had pain, shooting pain in her feet for 13 years, gone in 10 minutes in the Relax Sauna. A month and a half later, she doesn’t need a wheelchair anymore.
We had two, you know, uh, VAX injured nurses, uh, uh, at a conference. They, they, they cried after five to seven minutes because they had feeling in their fingers for the first time. This, for some reason, the Relax Sauna is very, very good for people in neuropathy because it gets the water molecules to vibrate.
So I have a friend and I always close with this question in his honor. He says, Rob, do me a favor. Give me three things that I can implement on Monday morning.
So I’m going to double down on that. I’m going to ask you, give him three reasons why sauna and give him three reasons why you should use your sauna. Okay.
The purpose of a foreign for the sauna is to increase body temperature. It’s to vibrate the water molecules. And when you increase body temperature that does, or the temperature that Hippocrates talked about, it does five main things.
It mobilizes the lymphatic system. It, it, it, uh, increases circulation, lowering blood pressure, getting rid of inflammation and pain. It floods the body with oxygen, killing the anaerobic bacteria and the parasites.
It activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which gets you into the now and it gets you into the point where you can truly be healed. And when you’re that relaxed, it also activates the mitochondria to create, uh, where you feel revitalized. Now that’s what far-infrared Saunas can do.
It’s, it’s essential. It’s a must. Rebecca Harder mentioned in her book, if you want to feel fabulous in the 21st century, a fire in front sauna is an absolute necessity.
And she recommends and has a lot of pages in her book, all about the Relax Sauna saying, this is the sauna I recommend. It’s like a no brainer. Now the Relax Sauna.
Okay. We increase muscle oxygen significantly more than other saunas. We increase body temperature significantly more.
We increase heart rate variability significantly more. And we use a semiconductor chip technology. The, the Relax Sauna, it takes 30 seconds, 20 to 30 seconds to feel really warm and toasty.
It takes eight minutes to, to do, to start sweating. It takes, uh, 20 minutes for a complete sweat, not an hour. It doesn’t take 15 to 20 minutes to start sweating.
You don’t have to preheat it for 20, 30 minutes. I was at a conference with a nutritional doctor conference in Minneapolis, four different doctors with wooden saunas in their home all don’t use them because they take too long to preheat. They all bought Relax Saunas.
The Relax Sauna is portable. It’ll fit in a 28 inch suitcase and you can put it on the airplane. If as long as it’s 21 inches wide, it fits in a carrying case, weighs 18 pounds.
You could, you could, you know, you could walk with it. You could put it in your car. It’s the only travel friendly sauna.
It’s the only sauna you can take on an airplane that doesn’t cost you $150, uh, overcharge for being oversized. And, uh, what else about the real, it’s, it’s, it, it truly, uh, the technology, uh, the breakthrough technology, the sauna, everybody should sauna. It’s a health promoting device, aiding in longevity.
Nobody does it better than you Phil. So yeah, it’s true. The Relax Sauna does it better.
I didn’t create it, but I’m, I’m good at promoting it. I’ve got a degree in mathematics, you know, an honors degree and four years of graduate school in math that, that qualifies me to, I know it does. I was going to ask you to talk about pie.
My wife was here before, but I didn’t want to do that. We’ll do that when we go off. Anyway, everybody, it’s been great.
Thank you so much, Mr. Phil Wilson of your time. We’re talking about the relaxed infrared sauna. I’m Dr. Rob Silverman, Proven Health Alternatives.
Always yours in health.
