Let’s go. What’s up, health heroes? Tim James here with another exciting episode of Tim James Unleashed. Today in the house, I had on for a third time Phil Wilson, the owner of Relax Saunas.com and one of my favorite people in the health space.
He is committed to getting this information, this technology out to people. He’s been doing it for years and years and years, over two decades now. And just old school bootstrap, taking the saunas, sticking people’s butts in them, letting them get the results and going on, eventually getting practitioners involved.

Hey, it’s always good to see you. Always good to talk to you. It’s great to see you.
Last time I saw you was at the Healing for the Ages conference with Dr. Artis and Dr. Group and Dr. Schmidt, Dr. Ely. Down in Dallas. When was that? September last year or this year? No, it was September, just a little bit ago.
Yeah. Yeah. We’re in December now.
It’s getting cold. People need their saunas. They got to warm their tushies up and get healthy.
Even in Vegas, it’s cold. Yeah, yeah. What’s been going on? Anything new and exciting in the far-infrared technology world? Well, we’ve been getting some pretty incredible testimonies.
There’s a doctor, a chiropractor who is at a nutrition show in Pittsburgh, and he measured his heart rate variability. Before he got in the Relax Sauna, it was 50. When he was in the sauna, it was 30.
When he got out, it was 136. He was blown away by- Who was this? Some chiropractor by the name of Dr. Mitchell. Dr. Mitchell? He’s out of time.
He gave us about a two-minute video. It’s on our YouTube channel. Maybe you can explain HRV or heart rate variability.
Well, I’ll give you the common sense, and then you can give me more of the doctor kind of thing. But basically, it’s the heart’s ability to function in life, to be able to handle anything that’s coming at it. Absolutely.
It’s kind of a big thing. Maybe people, you guys have heard of heart math, right? That’s been a big thing that’s been out there for the listeners. I actually have a heart math thing over here.
I just need to get off my butt and use it. I have all these things coming in all the time. People want me to try this or promote this, and I’m happy to do it when I get to it.
But heart rate variability or HRV is the change in time, the time interval in between these heartbeats, right? And it can change depending on different environmental, psychological, physical changes or challenges in your life. If you lay down versus standing up, it will change. So it’s basically controlled by our autonomic nervous system, which most people know that as fight or flight, the sympathetic, and then the parasympathetic, which is that relaxation mode, the nervous systems.
So that autonomic nervous system regulates heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, digestion, among other things. So what it’s able to do is basically the longer time interval in between heartbeats allows for faster recovery from stress and exercise. And it’s indicating a more resilient cardiovascular system and an ability to adapt, right? So if you have like low heart rate variability, you would have a reduced ability to recover from stress and exercise.
And you’re going to be more in that sympathetic nervous system mode, fight or flight. Long term, that could potentially lead to chronic stress, anxiety, depression, and cardiovascular issues, right? So heart rate variability is kind of a big deal. It helps you respond differently and respond better to stressors in your life.
And so what you’re telling me is that this Dr. Mitchell basically improved his heart rate variability phenomenally. Yes, phenomenally. Now, I mean, this goes along with other reports we’ve had.
For example, there’s a man who posted on February 2017 on reddit.com. He looked at the research on infrared wooden saunas. And he said, this is amazing. Wow.
There’s an Amazon sauna for a couple hundred dollars. I’m going to buy that and test it. So he raised, so he tested the body in the increase in body core temperature in 25 minutes and an increased body temperature, a half a degree only the heart rate variability.
It totally failed to do anything for heart rate variability. These are your Amazon $250 saunas that are made in China. And there’s maybe a hundred different brands, but they’re all basically the same technology.
And then he bought a $500 sauna reported to be one of the best, got the same exact results. So he was a little perplexed. He decided to check out the Relax Sauna.
It increased body temperature about 2.9 degrees in 25 minutes. And the heart rate variability that he experienced with the Relax Sauna blew away the research on the wooden infrared saunas. I mean, it’s significantly more.
And so going back to this other doctor, what was his HRV score before he went in? 50. 50. So just so you guys know, like they’re listening, like this HRV score, if you’re below 40 or 50, that can indicate like some issues going on.
Like you might have some stuff, heart arrhythmia, asthma, anxiety, high blood pressure, diabetes, and depression. And it could also indicate future health problems, right? So it’s not really, that’s not a good range. Normal HRV is for, if you look at the standard American who’s on the standard American diet, it’s probably not that healthy, but healthier than most is probably about 50 to 60.
So if you can get above 60 or 70, that’s considered like in the good zone. And so you have a good wellbeing and stress resilience and ability as your body to adapt. And you can do a cold plunge and it’s no problem.
And you can jump in the hot tub and that’s not a problem. So what was his score? It was like 50. And when he got out, what was it? 136 after about three, four minutes.
136. The sauna was about 30. It’s unbelievable.
Yeah. That’s amazing. And that’s what he said.
So he bought one just like that. Of course he did. I just want to impress on people that are listening.

Like they are in, like it’s done so, if you guys haven’t listened to it, go back and listen to episode 161 where I tell my entire story. I mean, I’ll, I’ll do a synopsis here later, but it’s, it was quite profound on the amount of heavy metals that came out of my body. But it’s, it’s a big deal.
Everybody should have one of these. And I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve had like friends of mine that I’m like, dude, you got to get one of these. And then a year later they get it.
And they’re like, bro, this thing’s amazing. Like everybody in America needs one of these. Like, this is what people tell me.
I’m like, yeah, I I’ve been telling you for a year, you know, so we’ve been writing, we’ve been writing the wave of testimonials for about 20 years and now it’s time to get research done. And so we’re doing research. Like there’s a Dr. Broder in the Chicago area who did some research.
We sent another sauna to him and the Relax Sauna and the, you know, the increase in core temperature was amazing with a Relax Sauna. But he said the heart rate variability increase. My gosh, that’s, that’s, and see, you know, I tell people that there’s five main things that happen when you, when you Hippocrates, you know, him, the, the Greek guy.
Yeah. We were good friends. He said, we are actually on a higher level.
Find me a way to create fever and sweat and I will cure any disease. So basically what, and there’s a Doctor Toshiba Yamasaki, who wrote the book, the science of fire infrared therapy in Japan. We haven’t been able to find an English translation, but what she says, number one, that that far infrared energy antidote, the negative effects of a microwave EMF number one, it also antidotes sunburn.
We have been at conferences for the last 20 years. I put about a half a dozen people with sunburns into the Relax Sauna. The last thing you would think that they would want to do is go in that hot box, but they go in and their sunburn pain is gone every single time from a seven to a zero every single time.
But, but what Dr. Yamasaki says, and I’ll let you put in your two cents, she says upon application of the seven-to-14-micron frequency of fire infrared, the water molecules will vibrate and that will weaken the ionic bonds. And that will, as a result of that, the water clusters will uncluster and the poisonous gases will be released from the body and the heavy metals. And it’s all about the water molecules vibrating.
So when we sent to Harvard, MIT science and technology lab, we got a report back. We said, this was just recent, right? Yes. This year, early this year, we, we sent three saunas to them.
We sent a $1,300 full spectrum, low EMF sauna. We had one 12th, the EMF that they had, they measured from 1.2 to six-micron frequency. They had 8% fire infrared, 37% mid and 55% near the Amazon sauna was from 0.95 to 1.3 microns, a hundred percent near infrared.
But the most important thing is that we had three and a half times the penetration intensity of that $1,300 sauna and four and a half times the penetration intensity of the Amazon sauna. So that $1,300 sauna is like way overpriced. It’s probably only worth about four or 500, according to the research that we got.
But we’ve been talking. You sent your sauna and two other saunas that were top competitors to Harvard. You got the testing done and then the results spoke for themselves once again.
Right. I don’t even know how much more stuff you guys have to do to like prove this stuff. I mean, all people got to do is just get off their butt and order one and sit in it for 15, 20 minutes and it’s game over.
Like it’s literally game over. Anybody out there knows anybody, especially in pain or debilitating pain, like there’s a guy down here in the store. He literally, his back is so jacked up.
He has to sit down while he’s working and he doesn’t want to do the pain meds. And this could be such a godsend for him. Right.
You know what I, when I’m at conferences and I do about, we do about a hundred conferences a year and I do about 25. Yeah. I tell people two things.
I say, first I tell them that it feels like your grandma’s giving you a loving hug and that gets some people in, if they still don’t go in, they’re sitting there talking. And I say, Hey, 50% to a hundred percent of your pain will be gone every time, every time without sweating with your clothes on in five to seven minutes. And then all of a sudden, gee, maybe I’ll try it.
And it’s like, I’ve seen 30,000 miracles out of 150,000 people. I put in the sun in the last 22 years. Yeah.
I mean, even this one doctor, he’s a plastic surgeon last weekend, you know, his shoulder pain totally gone, you know, but he felt really, he was just talking about the fact that he felt rejuvenated. The fact that he could use this before a massage, he could use it, you know, while doing IV therapy and so much more. You know, these Taiwanese scientists that develop this technology, somebody should be hugging them every day.
Like that’s how amazing this stuff is. Um, just, just to take a step back, if you’re new to the show or you’re not familiar with far infrared technology, um, basically, and I’ll let Phil speak to this, but, um, it’s, there’s different, obviously there’s different frequencies of light. Okay.
So we’re specifically talking about far infrared. Why does it working so well on people and dogs and cats and like children, everybody? Why is this working so well? It’s because far infrared in nature is the vibrational frequency of water. And like you said, there’s that, there’s that spectrum.
Now there’s a spectrum of far infrared. Why don’t you go through the spectrum and then, and explain what the difference is and where the spectrum lines up for relax on us compared to like, obviously the other ones that you just talked about. Right.
That’s critical. See, water is, you know, can be measured. Water is a far infrared molecule.
It vibrates at eight microns. And like you said, all mammals, birds, and humans, we vibrate at 9.4 microns. After all, that’s, that makes sense.
Cause we’re about 99% water. So we are far infrared light means we shine far infrared light. Now, when I shine at you, the seven to 14 micron frequency, the doctor Yamasaki suggested in her book, the science of far infrared therapy, it’s the same energy as you.
So because it’s the same energy as you, you don’t, you can’t distinguish it being different. So therefore it’s absorbed or penetrates. So when I talked about the Harvard, MIT science and technology report, we had three and a half and four and a half times the, the penetration intensity of the other saunas because near infrared penetrates the body one to two millimeters.
It’s good for the skin, but the far infrared energy penetrates 40 to 50 millimeters, which is one, three quarters of two inches. About two inches. It can go to two inches, two inches.
Now, so this can start working on oil-based organs like the liver and the gallbladder and getting in deeper organ systems, releasing toxins at a deeper level. My theory is that it’s actually not only because you, when you think about it, when energy is added to a red blood cell or water molecules in the body, those things actually get excited and they shrink. They actually get smaller.
Yes. Right. So that’s one reason that my theory is, is there’s two things happening here.
When somebody is exposed to the relax on as far infrared rays in that seven to 14 micron range, which hits right in the middle of what our natural vibrational frequency is and the natural vibration and frequency of water, which is mostly in us. These water molecules are getting excited, shrinking. The red blood cells are getting excited.
Not only breaking up from that rouleau effect where they’re all stuck together and becoming independently flowing, but they’re also shrinking. And now the dormant capillaries that are housing toxins and leftover stuff and heavy metals and that are not getting nutrients to them they need to are now able to get there because two reasons, the red blood cells are now smaller, so they’ll fit better, but also the capillaries are dilating. So they’re bigger.
So it’s a double effect and they can get in there. And this is why I believe that when I started doing the Relax Sauna after doing saunas for nine years, I used the clear lights, which I think were the best wooden box saunas at the time because they had no EM, virtually no EMFs panels were in the proper position for maximum detoxification, no glues and off-gassing. I mean, I did my homework lifetime guarantee, but they don’t, it didn’t work at the same level.
It was only raising my core temperature, a degree to a degree and a half, where it was almost 3.2 degrees in the Relax Sauna in 25 minutes. So what I experienced was all of a sudden after two months of working my way up to that 25-minute mark, all of a sudden I had all this gray stuff in my towel. Do you remember when I called you and I’m like, what is going on here? You’re like, it’s heavy metals, bro.
I’m like, oh, and guess what? That kept coming out in my towel every day for a year, every day for a year. And then after a year, finally it was every third or fourth, fifth session, I still have a little bit today, once in a while, a little bit comes out. So I think what was going on is since I grew up on a farm, lead shotgun shells, loading those things, making my own lead fishing lures and crappie jigs and bass jigs, catfish lures and all that stuff, I was just in lead paint in the seventies, right? That’s when my house was built.
So I just exposed to a lot of it and it just accumulated in my body. Not to mention I ate a tremendous amount of fish, a tremendous amount of fish. They actually had to shut down the snake river, a Wahi reservoirs and stuff.
Well, they wouldn’t shut them down. They told people you probably shouldn’t eat more than one or two fish a year, which is horrible. And I mean, we were catching 50 crappie at a time and eating them as fast as we could catch them.
We did some research in 2023 in Taiwan where it was proven that we got the lead out of the cells of mammals. Well, it makes sense. It just makes sense.
It just improves the flow. I haven’t seen any research on any other sauna saying we get lead out, but we actually proved it through the research. So that’s like monumental research.
Yeah. It gets the lead. Yeah.
Yeah. Well, there you go. It’s just another.
People who’ve tested like Karen Russell in 2007, for two and a half years, her blood reports came, the lead and mercury were like way off the charts. And after using the Relax Sauna 30 days, 60 days, her blood reports came back normal for the first time in two and a half years. Yeah.
And it’s not just the research, it’s the feeling good. That’s what I’ve been focusing on, the testimonials. But there’s a balance.
You want a little bit of research and then the testimonials. Some people, I give them testimonials until I’m blue in the face and they just, well, I want to see the research. You know, with Chinese traditional medicine, 5,000 years, and you want to see research, but it’s okay.
So we’re really enjoying getting the research. And the guy who got the report from Harvard-MIT says, boy, I’ve been really loving the Relax Sauna, but now that I see this report, I’m even more so excited about the Relax Sauna. Well, for me as a coach, I think I told you this, but I don’t take on a lot of private coaching clients anymore.
But when I do, it’s mandatory. They have to get that sauna, period. Because I’m just telling them like, hey, look, if I’m going to take you on as a client, there’s some other expenses.
You’re going to need to get these supplements, some of ours, maybe some other stuff of other companies, depending on what they got going on. And you have to get this sauna. And now I have another, I have a whole bunch of other stuff.
We’ll finally get to air purification systems, red light therapy, water hero systems, for sure. But you have to get the sauna because it reduces the number one killer, which is stress in the body, and lets you start knowing what it actually feels like to feel relaxed on your nervous system, calming down that. I mean, look at the heart math thing.
There’s the proof right there. The atomic nervous system, it increases your parasympathetic nervous system, rest and digest mode, and reduces sympathetic, aka fight or flight. It does.
It just does. I think you told me years ago, you’re like, I wonder why they call it the Relax Saunas because everybody gets out of the damn things like, how do you feel? I feel relaxed. It’s just what they feel.
Stress will take 17 years off of your life. That’s posted by, I can’t remember the name of it. I’ll think of it.
But like a major, I think it was like, it’s not, I can’t think of it. Doctor, some major medical website. I can’t think of it, but it was right in there.
It was right in their articles right there. It was like, stress takes 17 years off your life. So if you can have a place or have somewhere you can get into, no matter how much stress you have, and 15 to 25 minutes later, your body literally feels no stress, that’s a good thing.
Well, that’s what Hippocrates said. He said, find me a way to create fever and sweat, and I will cure disease, any disease. So when you increase body temperature, five main things happen.
And this is, you know, well-researched. Number one, you detox the body, you know, as we talked about. Number two, we increase circulation, lower blood pressure, get rid of inflammation and pain.
Number three, we flood the body with oxygen, and the oxygen kills all the anaerobic bacteria and sometimes parasites. Four, and this is what the Relax Sauna excels at, which we were talking about, it activates the parasympathetic nervous system in a way that no other sonic can, because that’s related to the heart rate variability that we’ve been doing the research on. So, and the fifth thing, the mitochondria are then able to create ATP and nitric oxide, because once you get, you know, my definition of, I have a quasi-definition of pain, it’s called the awareness of time.
So, you know, have you ever worried? Have you ever hurried? Have you ever waited? All those are painful activities, and that’s because you’re outside of time. Mm-hmm. And so, when you get, you know, where there is no time, that’s the magic, and that’s when healing can take place, because the body, your mind doesn’t get in the way.
Well, actually, on a spiritual level, what I’ve learned is that if you’re doing something you don’t like to do, time seems like it drags on and on and on and on. Maybe when you were a kid, you went to the principal’s office. Yeah.
Then you knew your dad was coming or something. It’s like, oh, boy, oh, I’m in trouble. Or you’re waiting for school to get out because you want to go play with your friends.
Then as we got older, you know, it’s like you finally find yourself, like, one day you wake up and you’re like, I hate my life. Like, what am I doing? And you have to, it’s like I’m going to a job that I don’t like anymore. It’s not serving you, because maybe you changed, right? But it’s like drudgery.
You know, I was just going to point out, three, four, five years ago, I said, drudgery no more. I switched from drudgery to exercise mode. If I have to do something, I’m not going to ever do anything with drudgery.
I’m going to just turn into exercise mode. For example, I walk downstairs and I realize I forgot something. So I go into exercise mode, run upstairs, come back, and have the time of my life instead of getting pissed off using drudgery.
No way. It’s like, it’s not worth it anymore. Well, here’s the big takeaway on this.
When you do something that you love, like maybe you run into a long lost friend you haven’t seen forever, and you’re just talking and you hang out and you’re really engaged. You’re in the present moment. You’re spending time with them.
You’re having so much fun telling stories. And it’s like, oh my God, look how the time got away from us. That’s right.
It’s been four hours and it seems like 15 minutes. Well, guess what? You literally only aged 15 minutes. Yes.
Now, if you spent 15 minutes and it felt like four hours in 15 minutes, you literally aged four hours. Yeah. Right.
Call that duration. It’s duration. Yeah.
Another thing is that the sonic can help bring you into the present moment. And what a lot of people have told me, especially which I was really surprised, but the men were like, you know what? I’ve always struggled with meditation. And I figured I’d just start meditating in this thing because what else am I got to do? And so they would start their meditation practice, which is perfect because you can get about 15 minutes in before it gets like too hot.
Right. And then what I learned from you is if it does get hot, you can actually unzip the front zipper and use it as a thermometer or a gauge so you can let some heat out because it’s not so much about the ambient temperature on the outside of the skin. It’s more about raising the core temperature.
Regardless, if that zipper is unzipped or not, you still have all those far infrared rays going deep and penetrating and raising core temperature. It’s energy medicine at its finest. It really is.
The energy and the Relax Sauna uses the silver on the inside or the silver on the outside as a mirror. That’s why the Relax Sauna is a $20,000 sauna selling for $1,500 and next year $1,700. It’s three times more powerful than any $8,000 wooden sauna.
They just do. Now, Rhonda Patrick and Andrew Huberman, they’re saying that the wooden infrared saunas can’t create heat shock proteins and raise core temperature as much as the wooden saunas at 176, 200, 212 degrees. I’m not sure if that’s true, but that’s what they say.
What do they say? Say that again. The wooden infrared saunas cannot increase core temperature as much as the Finnish saunas. Oh, the Finnish saunas, yeah.
Which they have at 176, 200 degrees and you have to be an extreme athlete to be able to do that. Just what Phil’s talking about, guys, just to recap, is that far infrared saunas, based on what Rhonda Patrick and Dr. Andrew Huberman said, cannot raise the core temperature as much as a Finnish sauna. The Finnish saunas are the ones that they just crank the heat up really hot in there and then they throw steam on the rocks and it gets super heated.
It’s like, whoa. It’s almost like your skin’s burning, but a lot of people can’t get into that. The Relax Saunas, you can do it and it’s not going to be like that where you’re burning your skin.
A Relax Sauna at 140, 150 degrees can increase core temperature as much or more than any Finnish sauna. Right, right, right. They just haven’t tested the Relax Sauna.
But the difference is, let’s talk about this right now. Let’s talk about heart safety. Perfect time to segue because if you have heart issues, you’re a fool if you get into a Finnish sauna or a hot tub because you’re going to be heating from the outside in rather than all the way through and the inside out.
That’s where people with heart issues get screwed up is because the outside temperature of the body starts getting hot before the heart does, aka going into a Finnish sauna or a hot tub, and then that’s where they can have a heart attack. So you actually had some amazing data that came back in science on not only is it not only safe for somebody with heart issues to get into a relaxed far infrared sauna, but it’s actually beneficial. Can you speak about that? Because this is another magical thing that’s awesome.
The Mayo Clinic in 2004 said exactly that. The heart has to race to find an equilibrium between the outside temperature and the inside temperature, but because far infrared energy raises core temperature, the heart doesn’t have to race and everything’s cool. And that’s why the Mayo Clinic says it’s extremely therapeutic for your heart patients, but like you said, they should never go into a Finnish sauna or a hot tub for exactly that reason.
Yeah. So for anybody else, I mean, there’s so many people with heart issues today, cardiovascular issues, just want to let people know that you don’t have to be like, oh, no, I can’t do that. It’s like, no, you absolutely should.
This is literally, in my opinion, I’m not a doctor, but I’ve seen it on myself. It is a flat. It’s a healing device.
It is like basically the standard American is running around eating processed food and on a bunch of medications, and you’re basically like Superman with the kryptonite around your neck, and it’s making you sick. Your environment is making you sick, not following your excitement and joy, not following your passion, not doing what you love, not hanging around people that love and support you. Eating processed foods that are grown in nutrient deficient soils, you know, all these things, the EMFs, the air, the toxins, the chemicals that are in the showing in the umbilical cord studies.
You’re like a sick. And the reality is, is that God created you. So the power of God is inside of you.
So you literally are a Superman or a superwoman, but you’ve got all the societal conditioning and parental conditioning and all that other garbage I just talked about is literally like a big necklace of kryptonite around you. And you can, what is, what does Superman do to heal himself when he, somebody saves him and runs in and like pulls the kryptonite off him or whatever? He flies up into the air and he lets the sun rays hit him. He recharges and he comes back down and he kicks ass.
And this is literally what you can do. Dr. Paul Anderson points out, he prepared a two minute video for us saying, you know, this is really unheard of in a sauna. The fact that we can raise body temperature to 101.5, 101.9 consistently. And again, the Relax Sauna can do this and other saunas cannot.

Right. Or even go back before that and they spray chemicals on it. But let’s just say it was grown completely organic and natural and all that stuff.
And then you got the rice grain. They strip the brand off of the rice, which is where 90% of the nutrition is because there’s a fat digesting enzyme in that rice brand called lipase. And if you don’t take it off, it will go rancid in the sack in six months.
So it’s for storage purposes. And then you’ve lost everything. So now you got to get educated and you’re like, oh, well I like white rice and I like brown rice.
Well, yeah, because it converts to sugar in your mouth. I liked it, too. And it was really good to put my salmon on it or my chicken strips on it or my steak.
And it was like I thought I was eating healthy. I had a 25 pound bag of home I rice and man, we we had a rice cooker and we’re doing it all the time. Now, if once I got educated, I stopped buying the stripped basically the rice that had been raped literally.
And I was and I started buying 100% wild rice. Wild rice still has all its grain and the brand and stuff intact. Here’s the deal, though.
I went to the grocery store and I’m like, I need some wild rice. And I saw it wild rice and I grabbed it. I opened it up and I poured it into the pan.
I start getting on. I looked at the ingredients. What do you think the first ingredient was? Brown rice, brown rice.
Second ingredient was wild rice. I was so pissed. And that’s when I started telling people not only do you have to do never trust the front of a package, it’s just salesmanship.
But you even have to read all the ingredients because they might be selling you. They’re they’re funny. They just like like you’ll see, like, you know, my dad still wants hot dogs.
OK, he ain’t going to change how he so I tried to buy organic grass fed and I’m reading this and then nitrates, nitrites are dangerous, especially the nitrites. They destroy human health. And what does it say? No nitrites or nitrates added.
Uh. Well, what does that mean? Well, they were probably had a copacker that added them. They bought that shit from them.
And then, you know, sometimes you got to be careful, too, because if it says. What was it? You know, was it grass? Grass fed like cattle, grass fed, you’re like, oh, this is grass fed beef. Well, yeah, they might have them in holding pens and they’re just throwing grass at them.
It does not mean that it has to say pasture raised. Right. So, I mean, it’s like.
You almost have like to have a decoding book to figure out how to buy stuff at the grocery store so you don’t get poisoned. I mean, that’s where we’re at today. And people forget that forty five hundred people a day in our country, in the United States are dying of processed food.
Yeah, right. But it’s just it’s the same thing with what you just said about the packaging on these saunas like and I’m to the point now where I just I’m like, I don’t try to get angry about it, but I’m just like, look, if you want to heal, get one of these saunas. It’s you have to get one of these things, period.

So, hey, I’ve had some questions from people. So what’s especially with like some some major competitors, you named a couple of them. There’s a there’s a company out there called Sauna Space.

The owner’s an awesome guy. I met him. I felt good going into their booth because I’m like, I’m going to hit light therapies as much as I can.
And I was over at your booth as much as I could, two, three times. Anytime I had a minute, I’d run over there and get zapped for five or ten minutes and charge myself up and then go back to work. Right.
That was awesome. What’s the difference that you know of from Sauna Space versus the Relax Sauna? Well, you know, I mean, like, you know, if you live five miles from a grocery store and someone gives you a bicycle, you’re going to be tickled, tickled pink because it’s going to it’s just going to be so wonderful. You’re going to tell everyone how wonderful a bicycle is.
But if someone gives you a Mercedes like a Relax Sauna, you’re going to be even more excited and you can even take the groceries home with you. So, you know, again, you know, I’m I’m learning a little bit more about sauna space. They’re sort of like, you know, basically, John Harvey Kellogg came came out with the heat lamps.
And a lot of times 10, 20 years ago, people would say, hey, look, Phil, I have a heat lamp. I bought it at a garage sale. Right, right, right.

But Sherry Rogers wrote her book, you know, Detoxify or Die back around 2001. And she was an environmental medical doctor. And in the 1990s, people with multi chemical sensitivities and environmental concerns were left to dead by the medical establishment.
And she got them all healthy using far infrared saunas. And again, you know, the near and the red light, there’s a there’s a book like Ari Witten wrote a book on red light therapy. And in the book, he’s always talking about red light, near infrared.
And so I talked to a friend of mine in Philadelphia. He’s a PhD and a medical doctor and has been studying infrared for 10 years. And he says, pretty much everything they near and red can do the far can do and usually better.
But at the same time, all all saunas are good. All technologies are good. Red light therapy, the near the near infrared lasers.
That’s a single frequency. Near infrared only penetrates one to two millimeters. And people do not know this because a single frequency near infrared can’t it’s a laser it can penetrate eight to nine inches.
But and they have their benefit. Now, we were at a conference and this lady was selling micro technology. She went to our booth.
So I’m bringing my partner over. She came over and she had had cancer. And so basically the all her systems were starting to rebuild themselves.
She said, oh, my gosh, after nine minutes, she couldn’t believe it. And she says, this is going to make our product better. In other words, it’s like what I tell people.
I said, OK, hyperbaric oxygen chamber. You’re Batman. We’re robbing ozone.

You know, it’s like so anyway, a Finnish study came out, a 20 year study saying that that saunas are super, super healthy for pregnant women. But I always say to people, hey, do it gingerly. If you’ve been using saunas all your life and you get pregnant, there shouldn’t be any problem.
But I’m not taking responsibility. You know, you have to be responsible and you just tune into your inner guidance. But according to the research, it is very healthy and not dangerous at all for pregnant women to do saunas.
But again, if you’ve never done a sauna and all of a sudden you’re pregnant and you’re going to do 20 minutes, no one wants to be responsible for a miscarriage. And so, you know, I say listen to your inner guidance and do it, you know, gradually, you know, and they’re basically I mean, I really believe there’s one of the healthiest things they can do because. If you’re going to cleanse and detox, you know, then, you know, absolutely.
What about somebody with pacemakers, Phil? Well, again, the far infrared energy is energy medicine and it only affects the water molecules, only affects the water molecules. So a pacemaker, a titanium rod, none of that stuff is affected. Bladder slings, breast implants.
Not nothing. OK, all, you know, as a piece of metal in your head, like cousin Eddie and Christmas vacation. You’re OK.

Yeah. I’ll bet people pay a lot more for it once they knew. I mean, the people that it’s, especially the people that are really screwed up and they use it and it’s like, it becomes like they have to have it.
Yeah. Like it changes their life. Like those people would, would, what would you have paid for that? They’ll probably tell you I’d pay 10, 20 grand for this thing.
Yeah. Right. If it’s going to do this, it’s priceless.
You know, and I, I, I use it in all my hotel rooms, almost every single hotel room I have, I have a Relax Sauna and it fits in a carrying case. And it also, if you know, like it won’t, it weighs 32 pounds. Yes.
28 inch suitcase. If it’s not 19 inch wide, but 21 inch wide, the chair will fit in too. And you can put the whole thing in the suitcase.
It’s really, and you know, all the other portable saunas, if you take them on the plane, $150, uh, oversize fee, you know, because none of them are, are really, really truly portable. Yeah. And for those of you that travel a lot, especially if you’re driving as well, and you get somewhere and you just traveled five hours, eight hours and you get out and your back hurts and all that stuff.
You feel like crap and you’re hot and sweaty or dirty or cold or whatever. You can hop in that thing. And it literally wipes the trip off of you.
It’s like you did a 90 minute hot yoga session. You’re completely relaxed. Your back feels great.
And you’re going to sleep a mate. We didn’t even talk about sleep, but I mean, these things are, I mean, I could, I could literally be a, I could sit here for 24 hours a day and just talk about how awesome these things are. You know, the, the first, you’re the only person that’s been on my show three times.
Thank you. The first year we were selling these, the people said, I I’ve never slept that well in a hotel. You know, I can’t, you know, twice the first year people said that it’s like, oh, okay.
And one lady said, I bought the sauna because I had fibromyalgia. You didn’t tell me it would work with restless leg syndrome. I had such a severe case.
I was a Guinea pig for eight different drugs and none of them worked. And within a month, all my restless leg syndrome gone and the fibromyalgia too. Awesome.
Well, Phil, thank you so much for coming on the show and, and taking time out of your busy schedule to do so and share the benefits of the Relax Sauna that you’ve been a proponent of for over 20 years out there. Just going to all these conferences and loving on people and lugging these things around and putting people in them and slowly changing lives. And now it’s, you’re becoming mainstream.
The saunas are taken off. It’s the words getting around, you know, you can’t fool people with the six. I mean, it just works.
It’s when I first started promoting the Relax Sauna. I had no clue. I thought it was a little bit better than the other portable song.
It was actually a lot, but I didn’t think it was as good as the wooden saunas. And, and yeah, much better, actually. Oh my gosh.
